The Monterey Aquarium has really grown since Mike and I were here on our honeymoon. It was certainly a treat to be back with 3 kids in tow. The neat thing about this aquarium is that it sits right on the ocean and its exhibits focus mainly on what is indiginous to the area. They take advantage of their location and incorporate the outside waters into the museum. Plus, where else could kids ages 8 to 12 get the opportunity to scuba dive in a tide pool?
