After that very eventful morning, the sun came out and felt as sweet as Tupelo Honey.
We pulled into Tupelo and got a big dose of Elvis as we paid homage to the King in the city of his birth. We toured the house he was born in and the adjacent museum. I was enamored with being able to look at some of his clothes (even some silk pajamas up close). Most of the shirts on display looked like they could have come straight from the womens' clothes store Anthropologie with their poofs, ruffles and floral patterns. |
